Pre-Production Update: Momentum Building

Things are moving

Over the past few weeks, EXILED has shifted from concept into something much more tangible. Conversations are turning into commitments, ideas into logistics, and the world of the film is beginning to take shape in a very real way.

We’ve started coordinating location walkthroughs, and some of what we’re stepping into feels exactly right for the tone of this story.

One of the most exciting developments is the opportunity to explore a historic landmark church as a potential filming location. There’s a weight to places like that—history in the walls, silence that feels heavier than it should. It’s the kind of environment that doesn’t just serve the story… it adds to it.

Alongside that, we’re continuing to scout additional rural and interior locations that reinforce the isolation and unease at the core of EXILED. Every space we step into is being evaluated not just for practicality—but for presence.

Building the Film Beyond the Script

Casting conversations are ongoing.

Partnership opportunities are opening up.

Local collaborations are beginning to take form.

What’s becoming clear is that this project is not being built in isolation—it’s growing through the people and places that are stepping forward to be part of it.

That kind of momentum matters.

Final Thought

EXILED is a story about isolation, erasure, and what happens when someone is no longer acknowledged by the world around them.

As this film continues to come together, that idea is no longer just on the page—it’s beginning to exist in real spaces, with real people, and real intention behind it.

More soon.
